General Info
History
All Star Gymnastics was originally Immaculata Gymnastics.
The program was started in 1987 at Immaculata High School and operated as part of the high school curriculum After 2 years the program was expanded to children starting at age 4. From there the program grew and expanded from recreation to adding a competitive team.
After being established for 11 years the gymnastics program grew too large for the high school gym and Jackie bought the program from Immaculata High School and opened All Star Gymnastics 1998. The first 3 months we were located in the Westwego Recreational gym (thanks to Mayor Billiott) until we leased the building we still currently occupy on Paxton Street (our Current Cheer Gym).
The program outgrew the 5000 sq. ft. the Paxton building and by 2005, one week before hurricane Katrina, the program moved to a 10,000 sq. ft.building on Bonn Street. Luckily there were minimum damage and we reopened October 1st.
